Notes - John Clifford McQueen, formerly of Flora, Illinois died of a self-inflicted gun shot wound to the head in Odessa, Texas on December 3, 1957.
His Texas death certificate states he lived in Odessa, Texas about a year at the time of his death and that he was employed in the oil field.
His survivors were, his wife, Betty Anne, daughter, Darla Jean, mother, May McQueen, all Flora, Illinois residents; sisters Mrs. Ruth Wilson, Johnsonville, IL; Mrs. Zoe Thomason, Keenes, IL.; Mrs. Olive Mitchener and Miss Pauline McQueen, both of St. Louis; and a brother, Gerald St. Louis.
