  • Notes
    • A decorated WWII veteran, Don loved Navy life and served in the Pacific Theatre for the country he believed in. He was a powerful swimmer and a heroic survivor of the destroyer USS Mahan DD 364, sunk in battle December 7, 1944. He was honored to be in the Mahan Association with his fellow sailors.

Don worked 17 years for Schlumberger and twelve for Affiliated Engineers. A tall man, strong and gentle, greatly admired by family and friends for his integrity and honesty.

He loved being outdoors with nature and lived his dream of ranching and farming for 30 years. He cherished his children and grandchildren, who enjoyed his sense of humor, his great storytelling, and his wonderful instant singing.
