    • Harry "Bus" Frost, age 86, of Xenia, IL passed away Friday, August 16, 2013 at Herrin Hospital in Herrin, IL.

      Bus was born August 29, 1926 in Clay County, IL to Dios and Ethel (Callison) Frost. He married Mildred Davis on November 9, 1946 in Flora.

      Bus served in the U.S. Army during WWII and during his life he worked as an appliance repairman for Sears and also independently. He could fix anything and was also a great mechanic. When Bus wasn't working, he enjoyed going camping and fishing.

      He is survived by his wife: Mildred Frost; three daughters: Linda (Larry) Daulby, Barbara Burkitt, and Karen (Jeff) Riggins; a brother: Guy (Pauline) Frost; six grandchildren: Kyle Daulby, Melissa Rico, Robert Burkitt, John Burkitt, Rebecca Riggins, Will Riggins; a great-grandchild: Isabel Rico; along with numerous nieces, nephews, brother and sister-in-laws.

      He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Leo (Rose) Frost, Robert Frost, and Dale (Velma) Frost, and an infant sister.

      The funeral service for Harry "Bus" Frost was held at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora.

      Interment followed in the Floral Garden of Memories, Flora, with military honors.

      Memorials may be made to that of the donor's choice.
