    • Mark Allen Oestreich, age 62, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Tuesday morning, March 23, 2021, at his home.

      He was born June 17, 1958, in Centralia, Illinois, the son of Charles T. and Rose Mary (Felton) Oestreich.

      Mark enjoyed being outdoors, especially time spent fishing in the Little Wabash River. He owned and operated Dependable Well Service and was a member of the Flora VFW Post 3999 and Flora American Legion Post 14. Mark had never met a stranger and will be remembered for always being friendly to everyone.

      He is survived by 3 sons: Doug (Pam) Lindsey of Flora, Greg (Kay) Oestreich of Clay City, and Zeb Oestreich of Clay City; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings: Steve (Carol) Oestreich of Xenia, Debby (David) Devore of Flora, Randy (Janet) Oestreich of Kinmundy, Patty (Dale) Loehr of Flora, Lori (Tim) VanDyke of Hord, Tim (RaeAnn) Oestreich, and Angie (Kevin) Connell of Flora; and several nieces and nephews.

      He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister: Cheryl; and a great-nephew: Bryce.

      A visitation will be held 3-5 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Memorial Donations are suggested to Flora VFW Post 3999 and will be accepted through the funeral home.
