  Mildred M. Wolfe, 90, of Louisville died at 3:53 a.m. Thursday, April 23, 2009, at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital, Effingham. Mrs. Wolfe was born Jan. 27, 1919, in Bible Grove, the daughter of Ralph H. and Velma (Grove) Wattles. She married Leonard C. Wolfe Dec. 25, 1938, and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and member of Red Brush Christian Church, Louisville. Survivors include her sons, Carl Wolfe, Gary (Marilyn) Wolfe and Phillip (Chris) Wolfe; daughter, Faye (Jerry) McGee; sisters, Irma Knowles, Mary Smith, Betty Ireland, and Merle Hosick; twenty grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Ray A. and Joe Wolfe; six brothers; and sisters, Lola Morgan and Pat Marshky. The funeral was held at Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, with Dusty Elmore officiating. Burial was in Shouse Chapel Cemetery, Bible Grove. Published in the Effingham Daily News.
