  Obituary from Wayne County Press, 8/13/1970: May Manring of Orchardville died at 3 a.m. Thursday at St. Clemens Hospital in Red Bud, at the age of 64. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the New church at Orchardville, with the Rev. Berlin Scarborough officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Richardson Funeral Chapel in Wayne City, where friends may call after 4 p.m. today. Mrs. Manring is the daughter of David Nelson and Mary (Coehler) Sons. She married Linza Manring, who survives. Other survivors include four sons . . . ; a step son . . . ; two daughters, . . . ; a brother, Byrl Sims of Flora; a sister, Inez Manring; 22 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
