    • Lawrence Kuenstler, 75, Rt. 1, Noble, died Sunday at 4:15 p.m. in his home.

      Services will be in Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wendelin with Rev. Father Leo Rinehart presiding. Visitation, with the Holy Rosary, will be in Summers Funeral Home. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

      Mr. Kuenstler was born March 4, 1911, in Clay County, the son of Joseph and Mary (Kuhl) Kuenstler. He married Lorraine Buerster and she survives.

      He was a farmer and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wendelin.

      Other survivors include a son, Mathew, Louisville; two sisters, Agnes Blight, Lexington, S.C.; and Sister Kate Kuenstler, P.H.J.C., Edwardsville; two brothers, Henry, Wendelin; Frank, Olney; a sister, Mrs. Veronica Buerster, Wendelin; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

      He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and five sisters.
