    • Anna M. Phillips, 85, Sailor Springs, died at 4 a.m. Tuesday at her daughter’s home in Louisville.

      Services will be in the Clay City Cardascio Funeral Home. Burial is in Dillman Cemetery in Sailor Springs.

      She was born in Wayne County July 17, 1896 to Francis and Jane (Tetrick) Banker. She married Howard M. Phillips Nov. 25, 1920. He died Jan. 5, 1971.

      She was a 50-year member of the Clay City OES and a member of the Sailor Springs American Legion Auxiliary.

      She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George (Bernette) Weidner, Louisville; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
