  Judith K. Briscoe, age 67, of Flora, IL, died at 8:32 PM, Thursday, May 1, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, TN. She was born on July 29, 1940 in Clay County, IL to Frank & Jewell (Miller) Stanford. On April 19, 1959 she married Robert N. "Satch" Briscoe in Flora, IL. He preceded her in death on August 1, 1997. Judy was the past secretary of RNB & owner of Spotted Acres. She enjoyed raising animals, allowing school children the opportunity to visit her farm and learn about the animals. Judy was also a member of the First Christian Church in Flora, IL. Judy is survived by two sons: Robert "Bobby" (Diane) Briscoe, and Brent (Terri) Briscoe; three grandchildren: Lacy, Trent, & Samatha; and three sisters: Nancy (George) Travis, Barbara (Phil) Poe, & Jane (Don) Delaney; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services were held at Frank & Bright Funeral Home. Internment took place at Floral Gardens of Memories in Flora, IL Memorials to the CCR Foundation, Harmony United Methodist Church, or Prairie Estates.
