  Karl G. Chambers, 80, of 2304 S. 10th St. died at 7 a.m. Saturday at his residence. Prior to his retirement in 1965, he was a self-employed wholesale produce distributor. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. John (Manda) Friend of Springfield; two brothers, Wayne of Mount Vernon and Merle of Springfield; one sister, Mrs. Faye Thompson of Berea, Ohio; one grandson; several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bisch Memorial Home, the Rev. Z. William Zander officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
