Bernadine E. Dasch was born April 24, 1930 in Richland Co., IL to Roscoe and Edna (Fritschle) Scherer. She married Austin Dasch on April 20, 1956. He preceded her in death on February 12, 2019.
Bernadine was known for her cooking and was famous for her coconut pies. She brought numerous meals to the fields when the family was out farming. Bernadine was also known to spoil her grandchildren with cookies. No one ever left her house hungry.
She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Noble.
Bernadine E. Dasch is survived by Son, Steve Dasch and wife Ellen of Noble; Son, Bruce Dasch and wife Brenda of Noble; Grandchildren, Kyle (Emily) Dasch, Ryan (Lauren) Dasch, Matthew Dasch, Brittany (Scott) Snyder, Brannon (Randi) Dasch, and Brian Dasch; Great grandchildren, Kale, Joe, Rowan, Olivia, Reese, Bailey, Brody, Braelyn, Clara, Halle, Hayden, Coen, Case, and Emma; brothers, Howard (Lucille) Scherer and Lee (Diane) Scherer sisters, Velma (Paul) VonAlmen and Arlene (Dan) Parr; sister-in-law, Norma Jean Scherer; and several nieces and nephews.
Bernadine E. Dasch was preceded in death by her parents, husband; siblings, Junior (Hazel) Scherer and Eugene Scherer.
Interment will take place at Freedom Cemetery.
