  Jay Stanley, 94, of Ingraham, died at 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2002, at Burgin Manor in Olney. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Neal Funeral Home in Louisville. Visitation will also be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ingraham Christian Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church with Minister Ron Payne officiating. Burial will be in Ingraham Cemetery. Mr. Stanley was born on April 11, 1908, in Clay County, the son of Cyrus W. and Sally (Bryant) Stanley. She married Mary A. Hackney on January 29, 1930. She preceded him in death on April 1, 1999. He was a retired farmer and oil field worker. He was a member of Ingraham Christian Church. Mr. Stanley is survived by four sons, Jerry Stanley and his wife, Martha, of Ingraham, Larry Stanley and his wife, Betty, of Flora, Dale Stanley, of Prairie Grove, Ark., and Donald Stanley and his wife, Elda, of Ingraham; a daughter, Maxine Brooks, of Flora; a sister, Mary Wilson, of Louisville; and 16 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, eight brothers and three sisters. Memorials may be made to Ingraham Christian Church. The Olney (IL) Daily Mail, May 2002
