  She was a member of Sailor Springs Christian Church. She was church treasurer and organist for many years. She had remained a faithful member until she could no longer attend because of illness. She was also a member of Happy Helpers, a monthly ladies group. She attended Lockyear Business College in Evansville, Ind. She worked at Cities Service in Olney and Evansville for 14 years and AMF in Olney for 12 years. She left work to care for her mother.
