    • Neal loved people. He coached basketball, worked with troubled children, and enjoyed being surrounded by his friends. He also took pleasure in being out on his farm. Neal loved his family and adored his loving wife Carolyn. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

      Neal was a Marine Corps veteran during the Korean Conflict.
      He was also a member of the American Legion, VFW, Eagles, Knights of Columbus, and Illinois Police Association.
