  Maudie Marie Emery, 85, Calhoun, died at 12:15 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8,1986, in the Olney Care Center. Services will be in Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Roland Devore presiding. Burial will be in North Freedom Cemetery. Mrs. Emery was born July 24, 1901, in Clay County, the daughter of James and Camilla (McDowell) Barker. She married Glen Emery Oct. 18, 1952, and he preceded her in death Jan. 2, 1982. She was a member of the Calhoun Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Charles W. (Bill) Bracken and wife Hesta, Calhoun; a brother, Ralph Barker, Hot Springs, Ark.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
