- EDITH MAE COLCLASURE, 92 of Camden, OH passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Woodland Country Manor Somerville, OH. Born on August 4, 1922 in Sailor Springs, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late George & Mae (Conley) Crouse. Edith married Isom "Cal" Colclasure on December 31, 1940.
Edith was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Camden, OH where she was active in church affairs. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, flower and vegetable gardening. In the early years of her marriage she and the family lived in Canada, South America and 12 other U.S. states. After returning from South America they settled in Ohio where she remained the rest of her life.
Preceded in death by her husband: Isom "Cal" Colclasure in 1987; son: Dennis Lynn Colclasure in 1954; sister Marie Wattles and a grandson: Shane Rush.
Survivors include her daughter: Peggy (Bob) Rush of Eaton, OH; sons: Jerry (Peggy) Colclasure of Dallas, GA and Larry (Carol) Colclasure of Middletown, OH; 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. on Monday December 29, 2014 at the First Southern Baptist Church 35 North Liberty Street Camden, OH. The Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the church with Rev. Dr. Greg Jackson officiating. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Camden, OH.
