    • Mamie F. Coble, 94, of Flora, IL died at 8:54 PM on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at Flora Pavilion in Flora, IL.

      She was born on August 13, 1911 in Dahlgren, IL to Francis "Frank" Osmer & Martha Catherine (Sutton) Cox. She married Verdie A. Coble on December 1, 1929 in Clay County, IL. He preceded her in death on June 28, 1979.

      She was a homemaker and cleaned for over 50 years for Frank & Bright Funeral Home (earlier known as Branson Funeral Home & John T. Frank Funeral Home). Her memberships include New Hope Pentecostal Church of Flora and the D.A.R. Mamie loved her church and enjoyed gardening.

      She is survived by her children: Frances A. Anderson; Wilma L. Hongsermeier, Vernal Roush, V. Arthur Coble, Judith Buhs, Joan Melton; 22 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two grandsons (Greg Roush & Eddie Anderson), four brothers, eight sisters.

      Funeral services were held at Frank & Bright Funeral Home with Steve Ranson & Bro. Jeff Hough officiating.

      Burial was in Floral Garden of Memories in Flora.
