He was born August 27, 1912 in Clay City to Frank and Bernice (Toliver) Wilson. He married Viola Fulk Hayes in Olney April 22, 1982. She survives.
He was a retired funeral director, member of the First United Methodist Church in Olney, Olney Masonic Lodge, American Legion, VFW, Olney BPO, former partner in Summers Funeral Home, former city councilman, former Richland County deputy and a member of Shriner's Ainad Temple.
He is survived by a step-son, Bert Alvord, Dundas; step-daughter, Mrs. Robert (Judy) Renner, Olney; two brothers, Jack Wilson, Springfield and Richard Wilson, Highland; five sisters, Martha Wilson, Springfield, Margaret Ross, Clay City, Maxine Larimore, Baton Rouge, La., Mary Young, Abilene, Tx., and Mildred Finn, Newton; 11 step-grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
