    • George E. Edwards, 67, Sailor Springs, died at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

      He was born Oct. 14, 1929, in Dale, the son of Max and Lula Russell Edwards. He married Betty Wells Sept. 5, 1952.

      He is survived by his wife; a son, Max Edwards; three daughters, Donna Klingler, Debra Foreman, and Janet Rutger; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

      Private services were held with burial in Dillman Cemetery in Sailor Springs.

      Neal Funeral Home in Louisville in charge.
