Notes - Harold "Buddy" Padgett Jr. 35, of Noble, died 7:06 a.m Friday, Sept. 13, 1991, at the Baby Ruth Ball Diamond, Olney City Park, Olney.
Funeral services were Monday in the Chapel of Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Runyon officiating.
Burial in Greenhill Cemetery, rural Noble.
Full military rites will be performed by the Olney Veterans Organizations.
Mr. Padgett was born Sept. 13, 1956 in Olney, the son of Harold "Smokey" and Billie Jean (Houchin) Padgett, Sr. He married Paula Hardin, Aug. 16, 1991
Mr. Padgett was a member of the American Legion. He was a U. S. Army veteran.
Mr. Padgett is survived by his wife, Paula; one brother, Leslie V. Padgett and wife, Cindy of Olney; one step-brothers, Kevin Weiss of Olney: three sisters, Mrs. Michael (Rebecca) Wilson of Noble, Mrs. Don (Debra) Phillips of Evansville, Ind., and Mrs. Michael (Penny) Runyon of Cornelius, Ore.; one step-sister, Rita Weiss of Noble; father and step-mother, Harold "Smokey" and Janet Padgett, Sr. of Noble; grandmothers, Beatrice Padgett and Emma Houchin Peters, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Padgett was preceded in death by his mother and two grandfathers.
