  • Notes
    • Larry joined the Clay City Fire Department on January 3, 1984 and recently retired this past January after 30 years. It was during those years that he served as Fire Chief and Assistant Fire Chief. Larry completed his Firefighter 2 certification and from 1987-1994 had advanced training and was certified in open water diving. He worked for J.W. Rudy for 12 years and on May 19, 1995 began working as an EMT/Paramedic for Clay County Ambulance, becoming lead medic and supervisor. Larry also served as Clay County Deputy Coroner for Gary Bright and Wes Miller and was in on the organization and implementation of 911 in Clay County having served on the 911 Board. His grandkids were Larry's top priority and in keeping with his willingness to help others, he became an organ donor. In his free time, Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley.
