  Duane Michael Stanley, age 55, of Flora, Illinois, passed away early Thursday morning, January 5, 2023, at his home. He was born February 4, 1967, in Centralia, the son of Larren Dean and Patricia (Paholke) Stanley. He was united in marriage to Teresa Cox on December 16, 2006, in Flora, and together they have shared 16 wedding anniversaries. Duane had driven a truck for several different trucking companies over the years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeler riding, especially in the mud, and spending time with his kids and grandkids. He is survived by his wife: Teresa Stanley of Flora; 3 daughters: Cynthia Stanley of Mt. Vernon, Rachael Stanley of Mt. Vernon, and Chanda Atwood of Christopher; 2 sons: Rodney (Jamie) Keck of Flora, and Ryan (Amy) Keck of Olney; mother: Patricia Stanley of Flora; several grandchildren; and a sister-in-law: Tina Stanley of Clay City. He was preceded in death by his father; a granddaughter: Taylor; and a brother: Glenn Stanley. A graveside ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 9, 2023, at Rusk Cemetery in Flora. Those attending are asked to arrive directly at the cemetery. Arrangements are by Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora. Memorial donations are suggested to Rusk Cemetery and will be accepted through the funeral home.
