HUBERT B. HASLER, 71, of Sumner, died this morning at 3:30 in the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. He was a retired farmer.
He was born in Claremont Township, Richland County, Dec. 12, 1902. His father's name was Henry Hasler and his mother was Frances Brian Hasler. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Houser Hasler, and is survived by his second wife, Rose Barekman Hasler.
Also surviving are one son, Hubert Hasler, Jr and one grandson, Larry Hasler, both of Olney; three brothers, Shurl Hasler and Roy Hasler, both of Claremont, Vernon Hasler, Sumner; and four sisters, Mrs. Ella Weagel, Mrs. Mary Fletcher and Mrs. Lilybell Provines, all of Sumner, and Miss Lulabell Hasler of Claremont.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Sivert Funeral Home in Sumner.
Funeral arrangements for Hubert B. Hasler, of Sumner, a member of the Central Christian Church of Sumner, will be Thursday, at 2 pm at the Sivert Funeral Home with Mr. Jack Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery, south of Claremont. Friends may call after 6 pm Wednesday, at the Sivert Funeral Home in Sumner.
