  Married to Albert M Macy Mitchell Commercial March 26, 1914 Mrs. Cassel Macy, daughter of Mrs. Frank Deischer, died in a hospital in Louisville, Monday night. Mrs. Deischer went down Sunday when it was learned she was dangerously sick and was there when she died. Earl Deischer and Undertaker Shanks went to Louisville Tuesday morning and returned in the evening with the remains. After arriving here the body was taken to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Abe Colker, where it will remain until after the funeral at 2 o'clock this afternoon. New Castle Daily Courier, New Castle, IN March 25, 1914 MRS. NELL MACY Mrs. Nell Macy, age 20, died at Louisville, Ky., Tuesday evening at 6 o'clock after having undergone an operation. Mrs. Macy was formerly the wife of Cassell Macy, of this city, and had been making her home in Mitchell, Ind., to where the body was taken and the funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Mr. Macy and his father, Elwood Macy, left for Mitchell today noon. (This article was copied as printed in the newspaper.) New Castle Daily Courier, New Castle, IN April 6, 1914 - OBITUARY MRS. NELL DEISHER MACY was born in Mitchell, Indiana on April 16, 1894, being the youngest daughter of Frank and Adeline Deisher. She was educated in the Mitchell public schools, and was a member of the present graduating class. When quite a child, she regularly attended the Methodist Sunday school and Epworth League, and in June, 1912, during the great religious awakening conducted by the Rev. Loose, she went forward to the altar, and on next prayer meeting night, following, was received into the church. In November of the previous year, 1911, she surprised her friends, teachers and schoolmates, leaving her school books to be married to Cassell Macy of Newcastle, Ind. On March 24, 1914, following an operation for peritonitis at the City hospital in Louisville, Ky., she passed away into the hands of a merciful and just God. ---------- Resolutions. Whereas, Our all wise Creator has seen fit to remove from our midst the spirit and early form of Mrs. Cassell Macy and, Whereas, Mrs. Macy was formerly a member of the present senior class, respected and esteemed, not only by her schoolmates, but by all who knew her, and Whereas, The knowledge of her death has been a source of grief a sorrow to all of us; Resolved, That we, the members of the present senior class, ever obedient and submissive to the will of a Supreme Being, do mutually extend the sorrowing family of the deceased our kindest and most sincere sympathies for the loss of one so loved.
