  Veteran 1861--1865, age 32y2m According to on-line marriage information found on FamilySearch.org, Edwin B Warmoth married Sarah Marshall on Aug 17, 1865 in Edwards Co, IL. Sarah Marshall might have been Laura (b 1865) and Florence's (b 1861) mother. When Edwin passed away, it appears his father, John Warmoth became the guardian of his daughters. Laura and Florence can be found living with John Warmoth in both the 1870 the 1880 US Censuses of Edwards County, IL. Thanks to Joseph Stephen Hays Allenhurst for providing the following information: In the 1870 US Census, Edwin and Sarah Warmoth can be found living in Standord, Clay County, IL. (Roll: M593_196; Page: 168B; Image: 342; Family History Library Film: 545695) It appears he was recorded ast Ewin and transcribed as Ervin Warmotte. Edwin B Warmouth - Civil War Veteran. --Joined on 6/11/1861. He was mustered in on 6/28/1861, Co K, 21 IL US INF as a PVT. Records note: born in Albion, Edwards County, IL; was a carpenter, and was single. He mustered out on July 5, 1864. --He mustered in on 5/18/1865 as 1LT, Co F, 152 IL INF, single, for a 1 year term.
