    • Son of Richard and Arabelle Lee.
      Married Edith A. Sterriker. Obit gave marriage date of January 30, 1909.

      Mr. Lee was a guard at the State Capital building. He died in his chair on the third floor of the Capitol building.

      Survived by his wife, Edith of Chatham; two daughters: Mrs. Ruby Stevens and Mrs. Violet Means, both of Chatham; two sons: Richard Lee of Phoenix, AZ and Vernon Lee of Chatham; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Herdes of Clay City; two brothers: Chester of Olney and James of Mattoon; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

      Funeral services at Chatham Methodist Church.
      Burial in Franklin Cemetery.

      NOTE:
      Obit had Mr. Lee born in Clay County, Illinois and an FAG contributor has suggested he was born in Wayne county.
