Departed the Continental U.S. on Novembeer 29, 1946 bound for the Pacific Theater of Operations. Assigned to and served with Company A, 31st Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division, engaged in the occupation of Korea. Honorably discharged as a Private on May 31, 1947 at Camp Stoneman, California. Earned the WWII Victory Medal and The Army of Occupation Medal (Korea).
