  Joy D. Cordell, 74, Kansas City, MO, died Tuesday at the North Kansas City Hospital. He was born March 1, 1907 in Kiatook, OK to David and Lena (Hiatt) Cordell. He was a retired laborer. Survivors include four sons, James Brown, Canon City, Co, Delbert Ruffier, Liberty, MO, Jesse Cordell, Sims, Valley, CA and Roy David Cordell, Kansas City; a daughter, Carolyn Mistretta, Kansas City; two brothers, Roy, Clay City and Dale, Tulsa OK and 11 grandchildren. Services will be Saturday in the Cardasico Funeral Home in Clay City. Burial in Clay City Cemetery.
