Earned the American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 2 bronze battle stars and the WWII Victory Medal. Buried with military honors at the Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold (Moselle), France. Also honored at the library park WWII Memorial in Flora, Illinois.
