The State of Illinois marriage index indicates that Waterhouse Crackel and Elizabeth Wise were married on January 4, 1865.   Watt and Elizabeth Wise Crackel's daughter Stella, married first Ralph Ridgley and then Willard Herschel Banker. Stella would have been his 2nd wife. She is buried under the name Stella C. Banker #24130721. Stella's birthdate in the 1900 census is OCT 1886. marriage of Stella Crackel, dau of Watt Crackel and Wise, to Ralph Ridgley 1912 Clay, IL marriage of Stella Crackel Ridgley to W. H. Banker 1934 (contributor Karen Betlejewski 47843770) Suggested edit: Mis. Stella C. Banker, 88, of Clay City, died Thursday afternoon at Clay County Hospital. She was born in Clay County Oct. 4, 1886. Her first marriage was to Ralph Ridgley. Following his death, she was married to Hershel Banker, who also preceded her in death. Her only survivors are nieces and nephews, including three in this area: Arvella Stanford and Mrs. Alex Raley, both of Clay City, and Harold Crackel of Flora. She was a member of the Clay City Methodist Church, and a 50 year member of the Eastern Star at Clay City. Services will be in the Clay City Chapel of the Cardascio-Easley FuneralHome, with burial in ClayCity Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
