  Nicholas (Nick) Ederer, age 86, a former resident of the Ste Marie community passed away this morning at the Richland Memorial Hospital. Mr. Ederer was a native of Jasper County and was born in Ste. Marie Township, the son of Michael Ederer and Elizabeth Hasler Ederer. His wife Ethel has preceded him in death on July 23, 1958. Mr. Ederer farmed for many years in Jasper county and had been a resident of the Burgin Nursing Home for the past several months. He leaves five children: Mrs. Ruth Ochs and Eugene Ederer both of West Liberty, Mrs. Georgianna Schneider and Miss Anna Marie Ederer both of Dundas and Lawrence Ederer of Chicago. There are three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Henry Ederer of Waterman is a brother. A son Virgil has also preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00 o'clock in St. Mary's of Assumption Church in Ste. Marie with the Rev. Fr. Joseph O'Reilly officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Friends may call at the Summers-Marshall Funeral Home. The Holy Rosary will be recited in the Funeral Home.
