  Larry E. Harmon, 74, of Olney, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at his residence. Larry was born May 2, 1949 in Richland County, Illinois, the son of Carl E. Harmon and Lorene (Stanley) Harmon. Later he married Lucy Boatman, and she survives. Larry was a good husband to his wife. He loved his grandbabies and great grandbabies, and he loved spending time with them. He will be dearly missed by those that knew him. Larry is survived by his wife, Lucy; children, Kenney (Mary) Harmon and Susan Sharp; step-children, Jerry (December) Shock and Cathy (Packy) Kermicle; several grandchildren; brothers, Jerry (Kim) Harmon, Steve (Cathy) Harmon, Don (Theresa) Harmon, Louis (Pat) Harmon; sister, Katie Smiddie-Titmus, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Sharon; children, Michael Harmon and Christina Harmon; brother, Kenneth Harmon; great granddaughter, Aurora Harmon; brother-in-law David Titmus. Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials can be made to the family.
