  Marie enjoyed being with her great niece, Tonya and husband Steve Salvage, of Lynwood and great nephew, Ryan and wife Sara, and their two boys, Ryker and Rayden Schneider, of Effingham. Marie also enjoyed fishing and playing cards. Marie retired from RMH in 1982 after 25 years of service. Marie was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney.
