Jean Ann Foster, 88, of Clay City, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at her residence.
Jean was born on April 10, 1933 in Clay City, Illinois, the daughter of William Norton and Julia (Handley) Norton. She married Chester H. Foster Sr. on May 25, 1964 in Oak Park, Illinois, and he preceded her in death on February 20, 1996.
Jean is survived by her son, Kenneth W. Foster and wife, Patricia Diane "Cookie" of Bolingbrook, IL; step-son, Chester H. Foster, Jr. and wife, Pat; step-son, Dean B. Foster; sisters-in-law, Norma and Laurine Norton; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, William, Jim, and Sam Norton, sister-in-law, Lana Norton, and a niece.
A visitation for Jean will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Clay City.
A funeral service will be held for Jean at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Clay City.
Interment will follow at Clay City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Clay City Cemetery or to the family.
