  Rachael Amanda Farr was born in Wayne County, IL and moved to Clay City in 1861. She married Edwin West July 5, 1865. One daughter, Clara West Coggan was born. Mr. West died in 1869. She was married to Leonard Blessing May 1, 1879. Two sons were born, Frank M. and Otto who was killed March 30, 1898 at the age of twelve.
