  age 71, of Mt. Juliet, TN died February 1, 2006. Mr. Knowles was a retiree of American Airlines after 42 years of service. He was the son of the late, John and Besse Jane Ruger Knowles. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Billie Knowles. He is survived by: Wife of 43 years – Wilma Knowles of Mt. Juliet, TN Son – John (Malea) Knowles of Keller, TX Daughter – Cathy (Chris) Coffie of Antioch, TN Brother – Leonard 9Doris) Knowles of Mt. Carmel, IL Grandchildren – Glen, Hillary and Adam Knowles and Meredith and Ian Coffie Niece – Jean Pelzer Nephew – Frankie Knowles Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, Febuary 4, 2006 at Bond Memorial Chapel.
