  Ruth Ann Welty, 64, of Flora, IL died at 11:30 AM Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at her home in Flora. She was born November 5, 1943 in Flora to John & Ruby (Smith) Welty. During her life she worked at Flora International Shoe and Cargill and her memberships include the following: Bethlehem Christian Church, Flora Eagles Auxiliary and Flora American Legion Auxiliary. Ruth Ann was an avid mushroom hunter, enjoyed bingo and was always providing for others. She is survived by her brother: Dr. Steve Welty & wife Ruthie of Louisville; sister: Linda Boyd & husband Donnie of Clay City; foster children: Michael & Stacy Pruitt of Flora; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Rusk Cemetery in rural Flora. It will be followed by a gathering at Bethlehem Christian Church. Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Christian Church and may be received at Frank & Bright Funeral Home who is in charge of arrangements.
