• Notes

  Harry Curtis Stine, son of Albert E. & Lillie J. Stine, was born Jan. 20, 1879, near Cisne, IL, where he grew to manhood. He was married to Nellie Brock Sept. 24, 1902. Ten children were born to this union; one daughter, Nellie Vernetta preceded him in death. Those who live to mourn his departure are his companion, nine children: Johnie, Herbert, Newell, Estil, Virgil, Helen, Velma, Hazel, and Mrs. Cloyd Watson; a married son, Herbert; a sister, Blanch Stine; a brother Ira; three grandchildren and a number of relatives and friends. While he was a young man of 22 years of age he was converted and was united with Baptist church at Blue Point. For several years he taught in the public schools of Wayne County. The last years of his life were spent with his family on a farm. Funeral services were conducted at the home with interment in the Cisne Cemetery.
