- BRIDGEPORT, Ill. - - Henry "Pat" Kissen, 67, 1101 Madison St., died Saturday at 7:30 a.m. at his home.
He was a retired Army veteran who served in World War II an also was retired from the B & O Railroad.
He was a member of the Catholic church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was born July 10, 1919, at Poe Station to Henry and Mary (Memerick) Kissen.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia (McDowell); two sons, Rick Kissen of Lawrenceville and Roger of Sumner; three stepsons, John Aldridge of Sanford, Fla., and James and Thomas Aldridge of Olney; a stepdaughter, Janet Andrews, Pensacola, Fla.; a sister, Melba Burgdorf, Bridgeport; one grandson, nine step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Cunningham Funeral Home. The Rev. Joe Latson will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Noble.
