    • Lydia Graham, 88, of Olney, formerly of Clay City, died April 28, 1991 at Burgin Manor in Olney.

      Mrs. Graham was born August 1, 1902 in Richland County, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Yauch Gray. She married Kelly Graham and he preceded her in death.

      She was a member of the Clay City Baptist Church.

      Mrs. Graham is survived by several nieces and nephews in the Clay City area.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and three sisters.

      Funeral services were held at Hosselton-Bookhout-Engelmeier Funeral Home in Clay City with burial in the Clay City Cemetery.

      Memorials may be made to the Clay City Baptist Church.


      Lydia wrote local area articles for the Clay County Advocate Newspaper in Clay City, Clay County, Illinois. She was a fan of the old St. Louis Browns (now the Baltimore Orioles) baseball team. In later years, she was a patient at Burgin Manor 2 in Olney, Richland County, Illinois until her death.
