Notes - Cheryl Lynn Eastin 59 of Flora, Illinois passed away 9AM Sunday March 20, 2011 at the Clay County Hospital in Flora.
She was born January 15th, 1952 at Fairfield, Illinois the daughter of Clairon and Jean (Burgess) Miller. On August 30th, 1974 she married Kenneth Wayne Eastin, Jr. in Flora, Illinois.
She was a Charter Member of the Women of the Moose, Academy of Friendship, Green Cap and College of Regions all of Moose Chapter 1937 of Flora, Illinois. Member of First Southern Baptist Church of Flora, Illinois Readiness Group of the Illinois National Guard, Clay County Day Care Association Charter Member and President.
For over 20 years Cheryl provided Child Dare Care for numerous area families. She was a volunteer for many area Community Organizations, Fundraisers, Community Events and operated the local concession for the Flora Summer Jr. League Recreation and the Clay County Fair Concession for many years. Cheryl was a friend to all and was quick to help anyone in need. She enjoyed quilting, floral arranging and design, crafting, custom embroidery and sewing.
Survivors include her husband Kenneth "Wayne" Eastin, Jr., Sons Steve (Stacie) Eastin, Scott (Terri) Sullens, Father Clairon Miller, Brother Jerry Miller and Seven Grandchildren.
Her mother Jean Miller preceded Cheryl in death in 1993.
Services for Cheryl Lynn Eastin were held at the First Southern Baptist Church Flora, Illinois.
Burial was in the Dillman Cemetery in Sailor Springs, Illinois.
