  Howard C. Delaney, 68, of rural Noble, died Saturday at 8:51 p.m. at Richland Memorial Hospital. He was born Nov. 16, 1908 in Clay County, son of Ernest Henry and Jessie Lois Hockman Delaney. He married Caroline Isabelle Mullins July 28, 1950 at St. Charles, Mo. Surviving are his wife, Caroline; mother, Mrs. Jessie Delaney of Flora; a son, Howard Richard of Flagstaff, Ariz.; three brothers. Robert F. of Flora, Charles E. of San Antonio, Tex., and Loren C. of Wichita Falls, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Lora Mann and Mrs. Fern Thompson, both of Flora, and Mrs. Evelyn Clifton of Louisville; two grandchildren. Services will be Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at the Cardascio Funeral Home, Clay City, with burial in the Clay City Cemetery. Rev. Robert Shook will officiate.
