  Ella Cleone Blackledge, daughter of William and Mary Virginia Blackledge was born at Lebanon, IL, October 22, 1881 and departed this life June 18, 1944 at the age of 62years 7 months and 27 days. She was united in marriage to Eugene D. Stanford on March 29, 1905 at Clay City. IL. To this union four daughters and four sons were born, namely, Mrs. Imogene Winchester of Flora, Mrs. Mildred Welsh of Clay City, Mrs. Lucille Pickering of Houston, TX and Miss Frances E. Stanford at home, William Lewis and Frank of Flora, Carroll L. at home and Corporal Harold L. Stanford now serving his country in South Pacific. She leaves to mourn her departure, a devoted husband, her children, two granddaughters, Judith Kay and Nancy Ann Stanford, two grandsons, Robert Louies Pickering and James Lewis Welsh, two brothers, Wilbur Blackledge of Miami, FL and Walter Blackledge of Clay City, two sisters, Mrs. Mayme Chasteen of Clay City and Mrs. Andy McPeak of Norris City.
