  Mrs. Helen Carder Hoffmeister, 58, of Sarasota, Fla. and formerly of Clay City, died February 19 in her home in Florida. Funeral and burial were held Friday in Florida. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Carder, who published the Clay County Advocate at Clay City for years. She is survived by her husband, Sy, a son, Gordon, and two grandchildren.
