- Rebecca Ann "Becky" Thomas, 68, of Noble, died at 3:02 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Noble. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Bill L. Wiggs Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Hanna Cemetery in rural Noble.
Mrs. Thomas was born on November 6, 1940, in Richland County, the daughter of Vern and Mina (Campbell) Patterson. She married George Thomas on February 17, 1962. He survives.
She was a homemaker and was very active with Special Olympics.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband, George Thomas, of Noble; daughter, Terri Waggoner and her fiancé, Brian Bailey, of Odin, Ind.; son, Troy Thomas, of Noble; son, Tim Thomas, of Noble; son, Derek Patton and his wife, Angie, of Olney; grandson, Logan Thomas USAF, Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo.; grandson, Rylan Thomas, of Noble; grandson, Brandon Thomas, of Shipman; granddaughter, Cameron Patton, of Olney; brother, Gene Patterson, of Olney; brother, Sam Patterson, of Georgia; sister, Cordia Hunley, of Olney; and sister, Nancy Seibert, of Terre Haute, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Patterson; brothers, Andy and Vern Patterson; and half-sister, Eleanor Middleton.
