  Ella Mix has found several spellings Golay Goldey Mary was raised by a family named Stubbfield & didn't know she had a brother until she was16 and married thru ancestry I have meet a 3 gen. cousin researching the Goley's which has helped a lot Have recently found out thru my mom who is hard to get info from that. No one seems to know why Stubblefields raised my grandma & can not make a family connection to them found her listed as a ward on 1920 census with a Mattie Stubblefield
