- He served in the United States Air Force. Donald was chief engineer/maintenance at AMF, WVLN Radio Station, Olney-Noble Airport (part-time) and 20 years at Richland Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Glenwood Church in rural Noble. Donald enjoyed being a ham radio operator for more than 60 years. Spending time in the garden, the greenhouse, blacksmithing and woodworking were also favorite pastimes.
