    • Mildred Wilson Finn, age 97, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 11:00 PM - Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at her home.

      Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM – Monday, July 15, 2019, at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Newton, Illinois, with Ron Mulvey officiating. Arrangements are under the care of the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois.

      Mildred was born on July 26, 1921, in Clay City, Illinois, the daughter of Frank and Bernice (Tolliver) Wilson.

      Mildred worked at United Technologies in Newton for over 15 years. She was a member of the Central Christian Church in Newton.

      Mildred enjoyed gardening, raising flowers and doing word search puzzles.

      Mildred is survived by:

      Daughter – Jo Anne Finn of Newton, Illinois

      Brother – Jack Wilson of Springfield, Illinois

      Nieces and nephews

      Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, son Charles Thomas Finn, five brothers Richard, Ralph, Robert, Eldon and Charles and four sisters Margaret, Maxine, Mary and Martha.
