Notes - Richard "Ray" Henderson, 68, of Swansea, Ill. formerly of Clay City, passed away at 6:59 a.m. Sunday April 29, 2007 at his residence.
Ray Henderson was born April 1, 1939 in Clay City to Eugene and Velma (Bissey) Henderson. He married Barbara A. Bach June 26, 1960.
Mr. Henderson was a US Navy veteran and a retired CPA for Boatmans Trust Company.
Survivors include wife, Barbara A. Henderson; sons Charles Henderson and Gary Henderson; sisters Mary Ruth Houchins and Pauline Boyles. Four grandchildren, Curtis, Taylor, Jacob and Lillian Henderson also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services were held at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Clay City. Reverend Kenneth Bissey officiated the service.
A private family interment followed the service.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
