  	Russell V. Brewer, 54, a lifelong resident of Southeast Olney township, was found dead at the family residence yesterday evening. The Sheriff and Coroner's office investigated. Coroner Bob Schaub said that the death was apparently the result of self-inflicted gunshot wounds.

  Russell V. Brewer, 54, a lifelong resident of Southeast Olney township, was found dead at the family residence yesterday evening. The Sheriff and Coroner's office investigated. Coroner Bob Schaub said that the death was apparently the result of self-inflicted gunshot wounds. Born in Richland County, Mr. Brewer was the son of Lyman Brewer and Bessie F. Fiock Brewer. He was an active member of the Ebenezer community and a long time member of the Ebenezer Methodist Church. Mr. Brewer formerly operated a feed store on South Whittle Avenue. He was married to Thelma Mae Smith on May 1, 1937. She survives him. Also surviving are a son and two daughters: Carl Brewer of Olney, Miss Nancy Brewer of Deerfield Park, Fla., and Mrs. Sandra Lange of Gibson City. There are three grandchildren, Chuck, Cathy and Tina Jo Brewer. Other survivors are his father Lyman Brewer of Olney, and two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Lois Kimmel, Mrs. Catherine Campbell and Paul Brewer, all of Olney. He was preceded in death by his mother, a son Monte Ray and a brother Clarence.
